Yesterday I took stock of my wine “cellar”. It’s really a tiny room under the stairs and consists of a wooden wine rack that holds 44 bottles of wine. I also have a small wine holder that holds 6 bottles of wine on the kitchen counter. I created a spreadsheet that lists my current inventory, to help me know what I have and what we drink. This might help when we go wine shopping to know what I am low on and need more of.
In cataloging and categorizing the bottles, I realized that I have 4 bottles of Chardonnay, regular oaked Chardonnay, yuck. Two bottles were part of two different “mystery” cases offered by the winery. The other two were a White Elephant gift at Christmas. Lucky me. Oaked Chardonnay tastes like flat beer to me and everyone that I ask, says that no they don’t like Chardonnay either.
So my question is, does anybody like the regular oaked Chardonnay, not the unoaked variety? Does anyone even drink it? Is it good to use for anything, cleaning, paint removal, etc.?
